This autobiographical project was inspired by the majestic Cascade Mountains of Oregon. The harmonious, nesting aspect of the bowls aims to peak viewers’ sense of adventure and provide extensive opportunities to explore details of the work. Clay, harvested from the earth’s soil, is a unique medium through which we can contemplate and better understand our own interactions with our fragile natural environment.
